Swami (Dr.) Parthasarthy,the monk
of the Ramakrishna Cult since 1996 Swami (Dr.)
Parthasarthy is an eminent personality of management
academia in India and abroad.
He is the Board Member: All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), MHRD, GOI, and Chairman:
High Power Tribunal Committee for AICTE, GOI.
He is currently the Chairman of different Govt.
committees.
Apart from that he is closely associated with the
academia as :

For his outstanding contribution in Management
Education in India and abroad, recently he
has been honoured by conferring “INDIAN MANAGEMENT
FELLOWSHIP” by AIMA. He has also been conferred six
nos. Hony. D. Litt from different Universities of
India and abroad.
Swamiji, is on the one hand an
embodiment of high spirituality with diversified
versatile intellect and on the other is a unique
combination of Indian traditional spiritual culture
and modern dynamic thought.
Swamiji is an MBA in International
Business and Ph.D. in Management from University of
Chicago. Swamiji has done his D.Litt in indigenous
management techniques. He had his bachelor degree in
Agricultural Science from University of California,
Boston Campus.
While working for the World Bank and the United
Nations, high Status could not chain him for long and
he came away chucking the coveted positions in just a
span of six years. “Life is not just working and
earning a salary”, quips Swamiji. He has set lofty
goals for himself beyond merely hankering after power
and pelf.
As wandering monk and mendicant Swamiji has travelled
whole Deva Bhumi (the land of divinity) Uttarakhand,
Himalaya on foot for 26 months with a single cloth and
without a penny and passed the days in different caves
and survived on Bhiksha and madhukary (mendicancy).
Such is the resolve in him to renunciate everything in
search of absolute Truth.
During his Deva Bhumi travel he undertook intense and
comprehensive spiritual practices and was an
eye-witness for different Himalayan mysteries.
He is also Chairman of the well-reputed Ramakrishna-Vivekananda
International Foundation.
In addition, he is also chairing and holding different
prestigious portfolios in several national and
international bodies.
Being an eminent man of management academia he is
associated with several world institutions and
universities for research and training. His exponency
in Management Science, Corporate Governance,
International Strategic Management and Human Values
and Ethics in Management is well recognized throughout
the corporate and business world.
Presently, he has diverted all his energy and
efficiency for propounding the indigenous management
techniques for Indian sub-continent through an
intensive and comprehensive research on Management
Techniques and Traditions. He has developed different
management training modules that are widely accepted
in the country and abroad. He has authored 17 books. “Human
Values & Management”, “Transforming
Personality” are of his books of global repute.
His recent publication, "The Corporate
Governance- Principles, Mechanisms &
Practices" has shown the new dimension to this
and an outstanding seminary work of Swamiji, the first
in the world of its kind which describes complete
mechanism including case studies of best.
Swamiji is proficient in a good number of languages
apart from English, Hindi and Sanskrit. These are
German, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese,
Nepali, Jharkhandi and Urdu.

Eminent Nobel Laureate Economist of the world and his
doctoral thesis paper was on “Industrial Behavior of
Post Colonial Culture and Intra-Organizational
Understanding” guided by Sir. John D. Fox.
